(or maybe just lazy that i dont wanna delve that far) but i do want to learn to make shoes. i know its the go-to tool for meshes but im not ready for that just yet. The game internally allows for the limited visual customization of the Sims (i.e. Advanced users can take advantage of this powerful tool to design clothing, skins, and accessories, sculpt unique looking facial features, and give their Sims crazy hair colors. The Sims 2 does not include a very extensive toolset for modding. when i get a bit more advanced you gotta show me how to use milkshape. The Sims 2 Body Shop gives custom content creators the ability to make content that anyone can play with in The Sims 2. I always come back to TS2 bodyshop because I can do so much more with it, especially with a couple good tutorials and a few hours to kill.Įdited to add - you are on your way OP! TS4 CAS is a terrible step backwards (imo), even with it's pulling and pushing ability, because it lacks a decent recolor tool. I know I've got it on one of my old computers, but since the meshes are separate, I'd never be able to find it. It was an object shaped as a wooden crate in the game, where when you clicked on it with a male sim, it offered different body hair. TS3 CASt was neat for recoloring and I really liked being able to do it in game, even if it was a bit "color flooded" looking. Back when this game was new, I had a mod for male body hair. It's one of my favorite parts of the game, I have entire hoods that only wear my clothes. I make all of my own sims clothes using milkshape/bodyshop/photoshop because I like using different bodyshapes and there's never any decent clothes for them. There were three versions of the BodyShop demo released, the first demo had one choice of hair and clothes for every age and gender, the second version (this version) comes with a few clothes and hairstyles, and the final version which was released before The Sims 2 shipped and was just a standalone version of BodyShop.
